Special Examination Sessions in Macao
To strengthen the professional standards of Macao’s financial practitioners and support the sustainable development of the local financial industry, the HKSI Institute has expanded our Global Examination Centres to Macao. The centre now offers several examinations, including:
- Licensing Examination for Securities and Futures Intermediaries (LE)
- Certified Private Wealth Professional (CPWP) Module 1 Examination Paper 1
- Post-training Examination for the Core Curriculum of the Certification Programme for Virtual Asset Professionals (CVAP)
The LE is included in the Continuing Education Development Plan administered by the Education and Youth Development Bureau of the Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region. Macao residents who pass the LE may apply for financial subsidies through the Bureau. Please refer to its website for details.
Examination Mode: Computer-based Examination (CBE)

- 15 October 2026 (Thursday) at 10:00 am

Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center (Rua de Xangai 175, EDF, ACM, 7 Andar, Macau)
Examination Fees#:
- Paper 1 : HKD2,050
- Papers 2 - 6 and 15 - 19 : HKD2,350 each
- Papers 7 -12 : HKD1,890 each
- Paper 1 : HKD 2,100
- Retake fee : HKD1,920 per attempt
* Seats are limited and offered on a first come, first served basis. Additional examination sessions may be arranged subject to demand.
# Candidates may, in accordance with the relevant Rescheduling Policy, reschedule their examination to another Global Examination Centre or the Hong Kong Examination Centre. All fees paid are non-refundable.
Candidates who sit for the LE at Macao Examination Centre will receive an attendance certificate by email one working day after the examination.
